...er, it's like a printed magazine

I LIKE RECORDS

I'm one of those annoying people who still favours vinyl over digital formats. Started when I was but a wee lad, but really kicked into gear in the mid 1980s. Since then I've written and designed a magazine on hip hop culture in the late 80s/early 90s (VAPORS), opened up a record store in the 90s with a mate (J.U. from EASYBASS) THE LOUNGE ROOM, deejayed and hosted 2 long running radio shows in Sydney FUNKEN LESSONS and DROPPIN' SCIENCE, had a weekly column MENTAL COMBAT in street press 3DWORLD, co-owned a record label that pressed vinyl PARALLAX VIEW. Recorded & released music under the alias IDIOT PROOF.

Currently spinning records with an assortment of friends at our sporadic events THE LOST WORLD in the Blue Mountains. A community event where people can get together in a safe environment while listening and dancing to good music.

And if you are down with the humble 7" single or rather the speed at which they spin...45s, especially those pertaining to Hip Hop music, then find me over at Frenzie's commendable site.
